Helena graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 and began her career with Hird and Partners, working at both the Sheffield Equine Clinic and Shelf Equine Hospital. She joined Churchfield Equine Clinic in October 2025. Originally from the local area, Helena particularly enjoys looking after the horses and clients she grew up around.
Helena likes the variety that the role brings - from tending to client’s horses in an emergency through to routine visits and a bit of everything in between! Her main area of clinical interest is Equine Dentistry, recognising how important dental comfort is to her patients, and its effect on performance, behaviour and overall welfare. Helena is involved with both routine and advanced dental cases within the practice.
Outside of work, Helena spends much of her time outdoors making the most of the surrounding countryside, whether walking her spaniel, Hazel, or riding her horse.
