Tom is a Dublin graduate, and after working in mixed practice in France and Ireland for two years, he worked in research in the University of London and Reading where he was awarded a MSc and PhD in Veterinary Pathology. He then followed his original dream and worked in equine practice in Lincoln and Shropshire before settling down to work at Churchfield Equine Vets alongside Phil Dixon. Together (with lots of help) they opened the Equine Centre at Hoylandswaine where he is now a Clinical Director. Tom’s professional interests are lameness investigations, performance workups, internal medicine, dentistry and reproduction, and is very keen on CPD. Outside of work, Tom likes spending time with his family, and his main hobbies are music, football, travelling, conversation and walking out with Moose, his faithful Cocker Spaniel.
